I'll be part of a team of great friends and experienced voyagers paddling an OC-6 canoe from Maui to Lānaʻi on October 12th, camping overnight and then paddling back to Maui the next day. This is a fundraiser for the Pacific Cancer Foundation and 25 OC-6 canoes will be participating. The Pacific Cancer Foundation provided wonderful support to my wife and me as she went through cancer surgery and treatments over a period of a year and a half. This is a very worthy cause to support. We'll be proudly carrying my wife's picture, shown here, on the side of our canoe as we voyage. I'm loath to ask others for money. Vivian and I will be making a donation of at least half of my personal goal. Please know that anyone wishing to donate any amount, small or large, will be so greatly appreciated.
