This year, we will sponsor the Quinault Indians to participate with some Maui paddlers in this event. Each paddler needs to raise at least $250 for a fundraising event for the Pacific Cancer Foundation. This is a two-day paddle. On day 1, we paddle from Maui to Manele Bay, camp overnight, and return on day 2 to Maui. We will have an escort boat and at least 12 paddlers, rotating paddling shifts. Since I have done this voyage and other similar voyages, I will be the team captain.
