I have been paddling on a dragon boat team for 23 years, which I first joined as a breast cancer survivor. Of that time, I have been coaching a dragon boat team that I started on the coast of Oregon for 13 of those years.
I have very limited experience on outrigger but am so excited to go on this journey with 4 of my teammates, also cancer survivors. I feel incredibly privileged to share this experience with them and know we will treasure this always!
Very much looking forward to meeting all of our team on this journey, and as I say to my dragon boat team everyday we are out on the water, "aren't we lucky!"
