In 2010, I lost my father due to kidney failure in combination with prostate & spinal cancer, and then a month later, my husband was diagnosed with testicular cancer. With gratitude, I still have my husband here today due to cancer research which allowed him to be treated with an RPLND (Retroperitoneal Lymph Node Dissection) surgical procedure — without chemo or radiation.
This is the 15th year for Paddle For Life – a fundraiser for cancer patients on the island of Maui. In TWO WEEKS, I will be paddling from Maui to Lana‘i and back and I need your help in raising $500.
—> Would you be willing to donate $15 for the 15 year milestone of this event? <—
I would be honored to carry the name of someone you’d like to recognize with your donation (please note the person's name or initials when donating) during my journey. I would appreciate your help in allowing me to honor those who have survived cancer in body — or in spirit.
Whether you donate or not… Mahalo (thank you) and I would appreciate you spreading the word and/or praying for our safe journey during this 28-mile roundtrip event across the ‘Au ‘Au Channel!
