On October 12th, for the third time (first time was in 2016 and second time in 2019), I will be voyaging again with some of my fellow breast cancer survivors from the Calgary Sistership Dragon Boat team and friends from the Calgary Canoe Club. The voyage is from Lahaina, Maui, across the 'Au'au channel to Manele Bay, Lana'i, camping overnight, and voyaging back, a 36-mile roundtrip journey with 25 canoes and over 450 cancer survivors and supporters.
We embrace the Hawaiian Culture through paddling, ceremony, chants and community involvement!
