Aloha mai kākou! It's been 8 years since my keiki's ('Ama'u 16, Aolani 14, Umi 12) mother, Kyoko Juan, passed away due to cervical cancer. We are amongst the thousands' of 'ohana affected by cancer. Death reminds us that life is ephemeral and precious.
Aolani (cheeeee!) will also be in the wa'a paddling, in memory of her mother.
